I don't know how many on these forums are RPG-fans, but even if you're not, please help help out on this one..
A lot of rpg-developers, especially Asian (not Square/Enix) are reluctant to release rpg's in Europe, because they fear that they will sell badly, and because of that, we who live in Europe have been left out on several good games. Last time i checked, there was over 2000 signatures on this petition, and i ask your help for getting the number higher.. It would take you 30 seconds

Done mine :D Bit behind everyone else but I have been catching up on posts.
Ok, I've signed as well.
Its this reason that I imported a US PS2, no RPGs ever seem to make it to Europe.
The one I really want is Star Ocean 3 (August US release)

Im sorry but I kind of have to laugh at this one, I like the popular RPGs such as Final Fantasy but they are saying "because they fear that they will sell badly" Well with a figure of votes on such a poll as this one has had, dont you think they have a valid reason for thinking this?
P.S. dont flame me! Its just a thought that immediately came into my head :cmonster:

The reason also is the amount of language to convert for each major domain in Europe. The main ones I believe are English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and there are others I'm sure. Its doesn't seem like much of a problem since were English and can import etc. But imagine all the text in a RPG and times that by how many languages that are needed. Its not worth the bother. Thats why it never happens.

English and French is enough?
I also miss alot of big titles not released in europe...but...i don't think that petition will work since you can change it in the source...
