Reccomendations for a newbie

What class and race would you reccomend for me?

I want a class that isn't all fighting like warrior, nor all magic, like mage, what would you recomend? And which is better for a starter, the Horde or the Alliance?

Anyway, its ur own choice based on what class type and race u feel most comfy with.

I.E what have u tried before in other games? Did u like it? What u wanna do? blast somone for loooads of dmg, heal somone, or be the strong warrior who keeps mobs hitting at him..ect?

Play aerie peak on allience side and you can join the guild with loonies in.
For an inbetween class you could be a palladin but be aware people will want you to heal in their groups.

Meh pala is the worts class out there.. sorry to say it tho but i really dislike em lol.

Cowards with their bubles..maybe things have changed from the times i used to play..(was back in the days when warrior was the most balanced class..)

But good idea to go on the same place as the rest of the loonies, the game improves alooot when u play with friends. Alot more fun:)

On the other side, i would recommend u either go full cloth class(IE mage, priest ect..) or warrior/rogue. As there is alot of paladins around, also in higher levels few wanna group with paladin as they are either to poor to heal, or to poor to fight/tank. They rather want a priest to heal, warrior to tank, and mage/rogue ect to deal dmg. Might have changed, however i doubt it :p

But as i said earlier, base ur choice on what u feel most comfy with:)

The reason i said pala to start is its the easyest class, but like me you may regret it later. i was a shamam and now im an endgame healer, when i really wanted to smash stuff up. Its the same with a palladin.

Yea we are desperate for droods.

druid here too, different server but i reccommend

bearform is like a warrior/tank
catform is like a rogue/high damage
caster form is mage/priest
you can also have moonkin form, which allows you to take on bear stats but still cast,

and with catform, you can get feline swiftness at about level 22/23 and then move at +30% speed way before you get your travelform at level 30 or a mount at 40, so getting about is piss easy as a druid from the mid 20s

to lvl quickly on droods, take feral

end game instances, restor spec imo, 0/20/31 or 0/21/30

most druids run on that basis, if your server is not PVP do something else, cuz thats for PVP based
