New Skin

Hi there, I have been thinking about buying a new skin from eXtremepixels mainly because with all the recent updates, there are a lot of bits missing from the themes as the themes are a fair few versions out of date (plus I would like the skins to be legit ;)) - Also you get free updates for a year meaning that the theme would get updated with the new versions of vBulletin and I wouldn't have to go around tweaking things each time! :mad:

Anyway, the skins that I will be giving a choice from are here: http://www.extremepixels.com/skins_vb.php

Each skin has a "skinny" and an "extended" version which can be switched between at the bottom.

I normally use Tren_Z it seems, but despite the name. Rogue looks very sexy.

The name's just a bonus.

Well to be honest not been to impressed with most of them, partly cos I can't stand pages that are too dark, but mostly cos most of the table borders (top and bottom) just look incomplete... In fact a lot of them remind me of chav'd up cars with body kits just stuck on and badly fitted!!

In the end I had to go with the "Applied" skin as feel I that has the best contrast of colour while looking complete....

AND the banner logo thingy we have will suit it quite well too so won't be too much of a rush to replace that too!!

I liked Fusion, Plasma, Centura - but now you mention it Skunk - then yes Surge looks kinda cool and fresh - wonder if we will get tired of it???

It's a tough choice....

**btw - really don't like "disturbed" that much. Hope it won't be that one that gets chosen.**

*edit: Nahh... Centura isn't really good... too anonymous, maybe Plasma is also too anonymous - but I still like Fusion and Surge.

OK I give up.... I change my mind more often than I change underwear... didn't like "Disturbed" 10 min. ago... but now it's fine. WTF is the matter with me. I trust you all will find a great one - looking forward to see the change.

Enlighten is the most pretty and with the best colours to look a lot on.
Anyway with a lot being able to create websites why not make a custom website instead of buying these things which aren't that special and pretty?

Look if i wanted a good custom website, I'd do it myself, but I'm happy with the whole vBulletin/vbAdvanced software and it's easy to manage, so if you don't mind, go pedal your wares somewhere else.
