bet its not as good as my weekend :D
the anual Q-CON (http://www.q-con.org.uk/)is here
its Queens University Belfasts convention for anime and games both board and computer
this is what i have to pick from this weekend

as you can see there are 2 rooms showing anime all weekend
with the hi-light being a preview screening ( the first time in the UK ) of the new Ghost in the Shell film
tho i have seen it and have it on this computer, there is nothing like watching it on the big screen on a comfy chair
some of the stuff i've seen before but its still great seeing it with a bunch of other anime fans
i cant wait for this weekend
going to cost me a fortune in popcorn :D
PS theres a cosplay show too so i'll get some pics and post them up
also there will be 2 artist who have worked on comics like 2000ad, showing some work and selling a few bits
and the one i want to meet again and talk to is Will Simpson
Will Simpson is another local comic artist who has drawn Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper, Batman and Marvel Comics. He has also worked on Hellblazer with Garth Ennis. Come and speak to him at his stall and take a look at the original prints he'll be selling.
