I didnt play the second one, but first one was really cool.

However its a complete change of genre, an MMORPG will be vastly different from a RPG..

Im thinking it will be in the same style as the recent MMO's that launched, with a few new inventions of course. Ill probally play it, never played the old SW MMO more then a trial and that was kinda boring. This one sounds like abit of fun, but still awhile let til release anyways.

the idea sounds great and all, but having to pay monthly to play a game... not something I think makes any game great....

hmm i still find it weird that ppl think that way ph3, maybe its cost im used to paying for games monthly. No the paying monthly doesnt make a game better in such..but some games are still worth it. and some companies improve the game by using those money into fixing bugs and adding new content to said game.

plus those games are usually ALOT bigger then normal games...

I know I know, and I undersntand all that but, I just think it's absurd. we have sequels for good games, those are made with the money they earn selling those same games, true it ain't expantions and so on, but some actually sell's better than previous titles.

Plus, I see MMO's as an addiction, I LOVE RPG's, and that's because there's a story behind it, a beggining, a development of the chars and story and an end. reason why I (AND I SAY I) rather buy all Final Fantasy series other than pay monthly for a MMO :)

don't forget, my opinion, not saying all of u MMO's fanatics are crazy or anything ;)

There is all the story and stuff in an MMORPG aswell, just it evolves around alot more then just your char tho. And there isnt an END. Some like that some dont :)

Plus u aint really played much MMO's have u, tried WoW and on a unoffical server and thats it?

Nope, played WoW on an original server, even Zepho joined me a couple of times. or rather, I joined him ;)

Oh well, i dont mind paying cos i feel its worth the money, especially considering the magnitude of the games and that they keep fixing and adding new content.

well, my bro plays the original now, every 2 months he asks me to buy him the 2months card thingy! he is an addict now, plays every day, like 9-12 hours per day :O
