Content Server Banner Required

Hi! We need 340 wide by 56 pixel high GIF banner as you may have noticed, at the moment while downloading custom content there is a pink box with the evil red cross, we want your banner in here. It is your job to design a banner, upload it to the loony image host and post it in here!

EDIT: I've just changed mine to a GIF for you Zeph.

Rogue: Use less compression; Potatoe Shop allows you to decide how much compression to apply to the image by using the 'Save for web...' option. It previews what the image will look like before you save it (I'm currently using the fully registered version 6).

if you use photoshop it is better to save as a gif better quality and smaller size

I've saved it as gif but the colour has changed somewhat, Doesn't look that bad but I'll remix it tomorrow, make the text a little bigger

i was just thinking been as they are gifs can they be moving gif images??and what is the max size for them if they are?

They need to be a managable size to download by the client, i dont think there's a limit tho, try out an animated GIF.

and i had to use your image hosting coz mine is down for soem reason... but this is simple with 22 frames which is quite a lot. anything fancy will take me a bit longer

How do you get a server to use your custom picture Zeph?

You have to be using sv_downloadurl and have a custom content HTTP server running. Then you just put a file called banner.gif in /cstrike/gfx. The dimensions are in the first post of this thread.

Hmm so the animated one (and the size of it) is unfortunately pointless since it doesnt animate for some obscure reason when being displayed. So we're still in need of entries, very pretty btw trip :)
