Just happy that I get a vacation for it :)
I am an atheist so I don't care what is happening on Christmas.
Hardly ever get presents these times so I just want see some nice fireworks, party and get drunk.
I want the next year to come fast...

Going to do Christmas in Guernsey with my folks as usual. It's always a good laugh and I get to go to the pubs and drink cheap beer and take the piss of inbred islanders... Plus I get loads of duty free on the way back!

My first xmas since 1996 as a single man (so I dont have to spend drinking time looking for presents), plus I should be in my new house by then so... PARTY.

I quite like xmas even though I am an atheist as all my mates are off work at the same time so the week in between xmas and new years is normally carnage. Also, with any luck my parents will take pity on my impoverished state and get me a new bed.

Well I rather like all the lights and decorations and the enthusiastic joy of the children - I suppose when all of my children are grown up the novelty will wear off.

I don't like all the shopping and trouble parking and the dent in my purse but I do enjoy relaxing with my family as it gives us an opportunity to have some fun together...instead of the usual discourse going along the lines of, have you cleaned yoour teeth?, have you finished your homework?, is your bag packed for school?, go in the shower, bring your dirty washing downstairs, on the menu tonight is mince, yorkshire puddings, potatoes, broccoli and carrots and so on.......

no i dont like it anymore. I think its become to commercialised. Seems like to much effort now. Its difficult to know what to buy ppl and i aint got a lot of spare cash at the min. Going to New York next year and need money for that. Roll on new year.

its only commercialised if you let it be mate, you dont need to buy millions of prezzies etc, last year was k, am looking forward to it more this year, my brother comes home from RAF, (plus hes just had an operation on his knee) its always a nice time of year.

THe buildup for me isnt the same as usuall, december kinda crept up on me this year.

I dont think i will enjoy it, things have changed and its not the same for me as it used to be, or how it was for the 5 years prior to last year..
Im not into all the christmas thing anyways, only reason is my friends and family and ive become distant from them for last 2 years.

its great when you have kids, but the cost and the loss of a weeks work cash kinda sucks.

Been with my Spanish bird for 6 months now, so going over to Spain for Christmas. Before you think it, it's not hot, it's colder than here cos she lives in the north (mountains, i know, I didn't know they were there either)

Going on 15th, coming back to UK on 26th then she's not going back till 8th Jan.
All in all, a GREAT Christmas. I'm atheist so just looking forward to the presents.
Who's birthday is it anyway?

See you all online soon.

MERRY CHRISTMAS:friday:

Boooo! Hisss!!

Hah, says it all really doesn't it?

It IS great when you're an 'ickle bairn though..... But now it's more of a sham... I'd rather buy what i want for myself, than have to get other people stuff and them get me stuff...

And I try to explain this to people, but they just seem to think i'm a cold hearted bugger... Damned Guilt Trips!

I'll prob voluteer for work on Boxing Day. The choice whether to sit at home and watch old films or sit at work and watch old films while getting paid is an obvious one.

When you're 20 it all seems to dry up on the present front :(
And i've seen Oliver Twist and every James Bond film to many times for comfort, but I should get a bit of cash from the family which is badly needed as a stoodent :D (Beer money)

I'm not where I want to be or who I want to be with at this time. It's a bit of a non-event really.
