Wanted: Digital camera

I'm in the market for a digital camera.

Something sleek.
Smallish of course
I'm not fussed about recording shit [or anything else]
But webcam feature would be a bonus
I've heard that anything over either 3 or 5 Megapixels was good, I forgot which but if it was 3, then 5 would be an expensive yet better alternative.
Around £120 is the most I'd like to spend.
Perhaps a package with one of those memory card thingies if it needs one.
Do they all come with software to send it to your PC? if not then I want it anyway, as it's the main purpose


I've seen a shitload on amazon which I know I can trust but I'm out of my depth with all the specs and shit, helpage.

if youre buying a digicam, you'll want at least 3 megapixels, that is the standard of good cameras, over 5 megapixels will (probably) go over your budget

you'll also want to take into consideration battery time and battery options, because many cams eat power like there's no tomorrow, you'd be lucky to get 1/2 an hour of constant usage out of a lot of them using normal batteries, and lith ion batteries are expensive

i havent (personally) seen a camera without PC software, but it should say on the specs

I have a olympus mju_400, its a very nice camera, good pictures, 4.1 megapixels and it looks nice too :D

Just bought my lad a Sony Cybershot 4.1 megapixels for Christmas.

Paid £200 for it now down to £150 at Argos...pictures are shit hot,mpegs aren't bad either,a bloody bargain!!And you get a free kit with it.....spare batteries,case etc.

I have friends in designing sector and they rather have at least 7x or 8x optical zoom.
Anyway I have no real idea what to think of photocamera designs...
