IRC!

I would like to get IRC a bit busier, its a chat room for Loony and Loony only where you can come and chat with the admins and other players, sometimes its buzzing, sometimes its a bit quieter, i would like to try and get that to change to be busy all of the time if possible. So, I have created a new menu on the toolbar on the portal (look up a bit if you are viewing this article from the portal). You will see an IRC menu which contains everything you need to get into the LoonyAsylum IRC channel wherever you are. See you in there!

Zeph's right, it's sometimes quiet inhere. IRC doesn't has a huge CPU load, on the contrary it uses almost nothing ! So that means you can let IRC running on the background while your surfing, playing games etc. Then you wount have to left/join all the time ;). Oh well do what you want

I'm pretty much on the loonyasylum channel and when i am there u ussualy talk but when other ppl are there they dont talk :( ppl should talk more and more ppl should go on irc :D

I would idle in the looney channel but all my channels are on quakenet and I cba with connecting to another server too. Come to quakenet..everyone is doing it ;)

I realise that, I said I cba to connect to a diff server.

pfff pure laziness. Type /server -n csirc.ath.cx click connect type /j #loonyasylum. Its THAT simple.

I know, but it connects all my channels in perform on that damn server too. :(

NWNK IRC is a irc client, very easy to use and with lots of options. This will sort your problem to connect on different servers without having rooms popups. That means that you can configure for each server the room you want to enter. :)

I've been on IRC in the early days (1 - 1,5 years ago) but then I got banned from the server and kinda gave it up.
Since my clan doesn't use it at all :( I never got back to use it.
Maybe tonite ;)
