I thought it was about time I move the site over to the namesake domain loonyasylum.net as that is what it says on the servers, so I have done this and gotten pretty much everything working including image hosting, I realise a bunch of smilies dont work atm but I will sort that as soon as I get some time and some of the links on the portal wont work, stats is one but you can still use these links for now, and yes, they're still being updated

Hopefully more people will find us this way! And also logging in works properly now since Ive switched the domains over and there is a redirect on new-version for those who visit that with a reminder to update their bookmarks. Please let me know of any problems as a reply in this thread, I dont want to be inundated with thousands of PMs! My time is already precious! :D

Oh and you will need to update your images in your signature, to get them working just replace new-version.com with loonyasylum.net, theyre still all there.

if your bookmark is anything other than www.new-version.com or whatever it was then it doesn't redirect.

It was originally on new-version, because a while ago we needed some web space quickly, and DD kindly let us use his (new-version). DD will now get his domain name back and might even consider running the new-version forum again. It was a forum that announced and reviewed new versions of software (And was very useful I might add).

Can those that are using image hosting links but havent changed them, please do so ASAP as it's causing threads that have old links to be really slow.

The 1.6 server still has the message 'Come and chat to the loony admins and regulars on www.new-version.com' (or somthing like that) sporadically coming up.

I cant get my head around this change, its like in the Simpsons when they give Homer the new dialing code.

Well our web-address IS www.loonyasylum.net it has always said that on the server, im going to go change the messages on the server in the mo. Get used to it.

Hey, im not moaning about it I was just telling you that I had noticed the server still said that. It says at the top to notify you of any problems in this thread.

OK well it wasnt really a problem but ive changed it on the server anyway :D
