Last new post button on portal

As titled, would it be possible to have a "go to last new post" button for each of the thread links on the portal as well. I always use the portal (obviously) and it gets on my tits a bit to have to load the first page and then have to click on the last thread page bit. I know I have nothing better to do with my time than spend half the day on here, but I feel this button will aid me in my goal of more efficient timewasting.

Also, now you've moved the debating chamber into the lounge, can you remove the note on the forum front page saying "discuss anything in here except politics & religion", cos I am a fussass.

When I held my mouse over the little ball with arrow in it, it said "Go to first new post" Is that what you seek?

click the last number :D
