I've got a fried Maxtor 80GB hdd which I fried when I *think* I hotplugged into my external HDD enclosure.... Anyone know how I can fix it by myself without incuring too much damage to my wallet?

I'm guessing its just some capasitors thats fried. Cant find much on the net....

well speak to some one actually at Maxtor rather than your uncle :S and no you cant replace capacitors on a PCB.
