I just wanted to ramble about the admin Battlefieldrelic, this guy kicked and banned me today for the second time on cs for no good reason and without warning. Now if someone has a problem with something the democratic thing to do is confront them wiht ur problem and discuss it. Now if he had anything to say i wouldve listened and acted appropriatly to benifit myself more than anything. Now this admin just decided to kick and ban me out of the blue with no warning or explanation and quite frankly im pissed off, loonyasylum is by far the best server i play on; some of the best players pwn on it and its wicked having the snipers banned, so needless to say im pissed about being kicked with no chance to deffend myself. So what do u think, is it an abuse of admin authority or am i just chatting poopoo?

You got yourself a 7 day ban for having a pornographic spray. Pornographic sprays are not allowed and it states this when you join the server. Somehow you managed to join again (Do you have 2 steam Id's?) and so when BFR saw you again, he re-applied the ban. I'm telling you this (as we don't normally), to try to prevent you digging a bigger hole for yourself by writing posts like this one (and the other one). If I were you, I'd find something else to fill the next few days, because playing Source on LA isn't an option for you.

In future I'd advise against coming on here and mouthing off against Admins. We have all proven ourselves over the years LA has been going, to be good at our job, which is why we see so few complaints from the regulars and have such a large player base.

EDIT - I took the liberty of deleting your other 2 threads, as I doubt they would do you any favours. You might want to repost in the Introductions section with just a normal post. If you feel that BFR is picking on you, I suggest you take it up with him through the Private Message system. Oh & BTW when your on about sorting it out face to face, it might be wise to remember that BFR has some very very large REAL guns :)

SgtSlater: I was of the same opinion when I first started coming to LA; 'Who do these admins think they are? Kicking me off the server for no good reason, biatches!'. But once you get into the vibe of the server(s) (and fully read all the rules, rules that have been put in place for very good reasons) you'll soon see that this is still the best CS server in the World (I still have a res slot even though I hardly ever appear on the server these days as it ensures I can play should I choose to). Just wait until your ban is over and then try and get along with the rest of the community, it's not a democracy round here, but if you have something intelligent to say then do so in the appropriate forum in a sensible manner and you will be heard (nothing may come of it but at least you'll have gotten your opinion out into the wider community, and if enough people are of a similar view then things may change).

Enough said.

As far as i know all decisions are being reviewed and i've seen decisions being reversed as well. But there is no use challenging authority, because you are not in a place to do so... Other than that, if you break the rules than this is the consequence. Loony is by far the best community and has the best admins on the net as well. So my advice would be, just sit it out and then join again, lay low, abide by the rules and you'll find out why there are there in the first place. Ppl on Loony play for fun, loony is about fun and thats why we keep coming back over and over a gain. I know, as with me, that a lot of plyers wouldnt be even playing CS if it wasnt for Loony. Check the differnce on other servers, whenver I go elsewhere somwhere im off in 5 minutes becasue of the negative atmosphere, foul language, racism you name it...

As i've learnt from another server, it's their server. They (admins and others) pay for the server and they can do what they like, accept it. Fortunately admins here are better than some others on servers and just wouldn't kick or ban for no good reason.
Ranting on and slagging makes it worse and can impose permanent bans.

You will learn if you get to play on LA again that this is the best server in the world i had tried cs a couple of time but had allways given up as couldnt play on servers full of idiots with no minds. but full of hate and stupidity and servers full of cheats.

I stumbled on to LA by accident with a friend from work one night and i have never played cs so much since even went to the lan where i met a thouroghly disreputable bunch of peole but nice at heart. I play cs so miuch now that i hardly ever play DOD anymore and that game is my first love.

i have never noticed an admin abuse his powers on this server unless its for a joke on some one and everybody on the server and the butt of the joke are aware of the situation although the butt of the joke may not learn untill they are re admitted to the server.
However i have seen plenty of people kicked and banned for cheating, and being bad for the server and its community.

My advice is stick with it serve the seven days ban then play on the server an appreciate it for what it is and you will become a regular member of the community

1) Grow up
2) Get a girlfriend, its better than loking a dirty pictures
