I have a D-Link DWL-2100AP access point and two D-Link DWL-G650 AirPlus PCMCIA network cards, both seem to work fine (in fact the access point has been back to D-Link for a service already as it was getting too hot to touch) but the connection gets dropped whenever I try to transfer more than about 2Mb of data (there seems to be no logical reason for dropping the connection as it can happen after only a few k of data has been transferred). After the connection has been dropped the only way I can reconnect is to connect to the access point via a wired link and reboot the thing (which seems to go against all the virtues of a wireless network). Have any of you guys had similar problems, and if so did you get them sorted? I'm on the verge of sending the whole lot back to D-Link with a very snotty letter as the built-in wireless card on Madskillz' laptop can connect fine (I opted not to have a built-in wireless card in my laptop as I wanted the 108Mbps connection offered by D-Link).

If I do send it back are there any wireless networks that you guys can recommend? I would like to keep the 108Mbps connection if possible, and I'm told that this is now being offered by other companies.
