spray problems

Help a noob out.

I made a custom, color spray, right dimensions etc. and converted it to a .wad file.
I then renamed it to tempdecal.wad and replaced the old file with my new one,
in counterstrike/cstrike folder.

But it doesnt work.
Zeph told me not to touch anything In optiones so i didnt. I just connected to the server, waited for couple of mins and tried it, and the damn "V" letter got sprayed.

What am I missing ??

(btw read somewhere that I should set cl_allowupload and download so I did that too)

you also need a decal.wad file of the same thing and make them both read only or CS will over write them

pldecal.wad and tempdecal.wad. Your spray needs to be of the right size too. make it read only or cs will just replace it with a default one whenever you open options.

go into logo's and delete the old ones too...i find that works.
