me i would its a top mouse and it ain't as big as you think it is i have the mx510 and its just an updated version of it

i am just a little gutted that i bough ma mx510 in january i prob woulda holded out till now to get the mx518

but i still love my 510 it goes well with my ice mat

what icemat do you have raydox?

I got the 2nd generation one in black which is made of some kind of glass. It comes with mouse feet, but the pads wear out on my mx700.

I am still thinking of getting the mx1000, but dont want the same problem with the mousepad

They don't just make mouses... I read somewhere that the size is great. It makes everything feel so good while gaming.

8 buttons are great. It has many advantages like switch hand, switch weapon, talk and the most important is that resolution thing.
It also comes in handy while surfing -> go back, forward, open clipboard, ftp,...

I do think that I'm going to buy myself a new keyboard first...as this one is filled with fooooooood

i have the ice 2nd edition in blue stephen and again my teflon strips thta came with it do wear out !

i just removed them and do with out and them still works well i think

Oh Zeph your so behind, when the Logitech MX518 makes it over here, it will be re-badged as a "Rat" due to the wire (which of course lookse like a rats tail). The Water Vole series will be the next generation of Logitech "Cordless mice". Closely followed by the "hippo" (when they keep getting bigger, and increase "those bite marks")
