Is there any way to uninstall this prog, then re-install it and resetting the time it notes that you have installed it at?
i had NAV 2002 before and routinely uninstalled and reinstalled it every 6 months and got a renewal on the subscription, always went back to 12 months till expiry.
Then I missed to do it once and I had to buy NAV 2004, now I think I missed the 'window' again. Is there any registry entry that I could delete or something similar, so it thinks I'm doing a clean install?

Thx

Either that or suggest alternatives pls, cos I'm a cheap mofo

I use NAV2003 as it was free (which is always good) and it was a smaller d/load than NAV2004 (which comes as part of NIS2004, which is just bloatware for what I need). For NAV2003 I have a subscription extender that is a reg hack so I'll track it down and see if I can suggest anything.

P.S. If I fall asleep at my keyboard again give me a shake at about 05:00 so I can finish packing my gear.

EDIT: Just checked and it was a .LiveSubscribe file not a reg hack directly, you could try it for NAV2004 as they use the same system and the Read Me doesn't explictly say it's for 2003. If you want it Bullet reply to this thread, PM me your MSN or email and I'll send it on over. Can't say fairer than that mate.

NP matey. As for others reading this thread: the 'hack' worked, so speak nicely to Bullet and he might sort you out (I'll be out of the country by the time y'all wake up).

BTW We of LoonyAsylum do not condone the use of Unlicensed software (But Norton's Licensing is a Joke)

F-Prot is much better and uses far less resources. I can provide you with a Demo version.

Kaspersky - Its the hackers choice, and as such, its fast becoming the top end manufactures product of choice.

Avast and AVG are two different products.

you can never have too much protection,, but no if you are hardware firewalled you should be fine.. I have sometimes recommended it for Broadband people with no firewall or routing, especially if they are h eavy P2P users as there is so many viruses on there

sorry afro, got my words mixed :P

but yeah i've always used norton in the past n its picked evrything up -

scary fact: in the time norton went down, and before i got Avast up, i went to 4 websites and within those 4 i had a browser hijack, as in the homepage and search pages got changed
