Nah, we pay for loony so all us matey types have a good place to play. You pay for WOW to line the pockets of Blizzard. Whats wrong with a system like CS, where individuals decided if the wish to pay to run a server? I'll bet there's an awful lot of software companies rubbing their hands together watching this WOW thing.

Not really, no. It's been done for years, not just by Blizzard, I could reel off a whole list of MMOs some of which charge up to £30/month, makes £8.99/month not seem so bad after all :thwack:

You have to register the key to a billing account to play and you have to register a credit/debit card to the billing account. There's a lots of protection to stop thieving C-nuts.
