Most disapointing game ending?

Just a pointless post.

What are the most disapointing game endings youve seen on any computer not just PC.

At the moment the only one i could think of was Shenmue 2 on the DC great game but ending was very poor.

er sry im a shenmue fan, its a good ending, but tbh it will never be finished =[ (it hurts so much to say that, was was obssesed with shenmue)

crap ending= halo2!

the "secret" ending on halo if you complete it on legendary - almost exactly the same, except two dudes hug, the general guy and the alien commander-thingy

a bit of a crap prize for the all the hard work imo

Xenon (the first one) on the Atari ST. I played that to death, probably the hardest game I've ever won and guess what happens at the end? You go back to the start. Cheers fuckers.

I didnt say Shenmue was crap i said the ending of the second game was disappointing.
Both shenmue games were absolutely brilliant i loved playing them.

Actually i feel like playing them again now :)

most games i have played have crappy endings
but the most disapointing but obvious one has to be Half Life 2

No, i played Syndicate on a 80x386 with 4 or 8 Megabytes of internal RAM..

It was pretty good at the time.. but it had no ending... while you were really working forward towards total world domination.

My brother and i played "The Hunchback" on the MSX before that too.. and finished it..

This topic is making me start thinking about the opposite though... What was the best game ending all time? I will have to think really hard on that one.

I have to say Max payne 1 and 2, not because it was bad it just came to soon. Dammit i loved those games and they just ended it in the middle. (sort of)
