Is anyone else waiting with baited breath for it's release this week?

Not having Broadband at the moment I am ludicrously excited at getting something fresh and new to play- getting bored of CSS bots...

Hopefully Play dot con will deliver it thursday...

Errr, no. I've played it on PS2 for ages and got a bit bored of it now. It does most splendidly rock tho, has to be one of the best games i've ever played.

I have banned my PS2 owning friends from talking about it... For fear of spoilers. I know virtually nothing about the game apart from the fact it is 6 times as big and rocks' jebus' cocks off....

Probably going to get flamed for being such a fanboi and/or being shite at it, but played vice city for 80 hours to 100% completion. Played San Andreas for 100+ hours and have only got 75% completion. Have completed all the story missions and lots of the side mission. To say it's huge is like saying Elle McPherson is a bit of a babe. :-)

For anyone who has GTA III or GTA Vice City I highly recommend you check out killerkip's mods (just google killerkip). Basically replaces all of the vehicles with much better faster ones, higher def graphics, new buildings and extra stunt tracks and stuff like that. I reckon those mods doubled the game life for me. Pure genius.

I'm gonna get San Andreas as soon as I have a job and can afford it :D

I also missed out on Vice City, so I'll probably get that too. I have GTA3 though, which still provides me with hours of fun modding the player skins, car colours and stats. Nothing can beat my SuperPerennial :D

played it on PS2 - one of the best games in a while. i hated some story missions with passion thought.

I didn't like it on PS2 personally, features of it were far too complicated, too much stuff to worry about. And is it me or was it really orange?

I'm just re-playing vice city and yes some of the missions are way beyond annoying. I think I enjoy just driving around in these games more than anyhing. Getting a bike or a fast car and doing massive jumps and crashes...

i've played it on ps2 and i wont be getting it because i prefer Vice City. Nothing can beat driving alone running people down while listening to Slayer and Anthrax. :)

Vice city's unnofficial network mode was the best thing about it! Great fun
