well i just thought it would be nice to have this sort of thread

to get it started should i buy 'DAWN' the red cape she wants???
has anyone done this?
i dont want to waste 200g if its a pointless thing to do


also can i buy armor before i go to the academy??

You can buy armour for were your up to in the game but as u progress you will need to buy better/stronger armour as foes get much harder the further you progress.I advise against using your expensive dyes on armour if your a low level and wait till your much further in the game.Also you will need your rare crafting materals for better armour so always keep an expert salvage kit on hand as you will need plenty of steel ingots.

ive not even found a crafter yet! im still pretty much using the armour i started with and im level 11 lol so i keep dying a lot, im pretty sure my weapons crap too

lanki let me know what weapon you use as i am constantly picking up very good bows and hammers, unfortunately if ur using staffs, as i do, they are crap no matter where you get 'em from!!

I use a hammer wheels mate, not ventured onto anything else yet, the one i have at the moment is ok actually, 11-17 dmg

if its customized only u can use it. lanki theres a crafter in Ascalon and one in Yaks Bend if i remember corectly (defintly somewhere in mountains).

for all u warriors who need steel ignots: theres a materials crafter close to yaks bend that makes 1 steel out of 10 iron and 10 wood (both very common). u find him by doing missing artisan quest.

im lvl-5 necromancer/monk... low on cash though...and what exactly do the dyes to.. the black die costs 1500gold i think... and when im at the armour place it sasi i need 2 or 1 of something before i buy this(to the left of the price)....then when bying spells i need partchments the hell do i get those from

Buy a salvage kit from merchant and use on all your non essential items in your inventry to get common crafting items such as wood-iron ingots etc.
Buy a expert salvage kit which costs more but will get you your rare items such as steel ingots-parchments.
Just keep doing quests and collect all the loot and salvage.Then when you got some decent stuff you can then trade for items aswell.;P
Black dye is rare,so if you get some keep hold of it.
Also buy ID kit to identify weapons.Some of these are highly salvagable which can give you weapon upgrades.Hope this helps you lol!

Any 1 reached the thirsty river yet ? Im stuck here as there seems to be a monk shortage and all parties taking on the quest need at least 2 healers.Was so close to completing it yesterday but for some noob to go and rush in and get us wiped out GRRRRR :(.If you dont kill the preists the enemy are ressurected every 2 mins and theres about 6 lots of preists to kill in this quest.All foes are lvl 20+ here so a monk shortage is bad news for the other heroes.Oh and some monks that were available were asking for items/gold before joining a group,GITS.

wooohoo i finally got to yaks bend.

materials crafter near sanatarium makes steel out of 10 iron and 1 charcoal (so u need that which is also rare). and the one near yaks bend can make u that charcoal out of wood.

also i need a LOT (im talkin hunderds) of wood for my monk, so i will give u any materials in exchange for wood.

erm isnt thsi wierd i got 10 iron things right and they sell for 151g but to buy them its 404g???? same thing with wood cost 151 to buy 10 and for selling 10 they give u 40g..wtf

but again i'll say 1 person Joelina P Apple is a necro/element so if you see me online let me know if you have runes you can help me with
and do i just carry the rune in my bag or do i need to have them equipt (SP?) to be able to use them?

The runes you get you have to double click on them and add them to armour.

how do i change my spells?
or even equip them ?

i seemed to have removed a spell from the bottom bar and i dont know how to get it back
also i'd like to change 1 or 2 of my spells

when your in a town press 'k' and you can change all your skills around to whatever you prefer.

yeah, and make sure to load the rez signet/skill before u leave town. there has been so mnay times when I've been the only one that could rez. even with monks in the party :(
