I got the new PC Zone in the post yesterday and it has the demo on it. DAMN FINE GAME!!! Best multiplayer game I have seen yet I think. Great fun- even just with bots!

I'm so annoyed- I really want this game but it's useless unless you have broadband (only 16 person single player over 10 maps) and NTL have once again confirmed that they have no plans to offer broadband in my area. Well... they offer it- I get fliers in the post every day- they just dont bloody supply it!

In the full games you can change a setting to enable 64 player bots but it puts a hefty load on even the mightiest of CPUs. Still - you could try a 32 player bot...

Search the net, it tells you where to change the settings.

Still, 64 player server are really fun to play on.

BF2 is fekin mega, I can't stop playing it, not played on loony for a week now because of it. its like BF1942 (Desert combat patch +)

Id definatly use a loony BF2 server cos 90% of the servers suck for it especially the ranked ones. But i would have thought it would be quite resource hungry if u had a 32 or 64 player BF2 server wouldnt it?

Its a great game will hopefully will have a few more patches soon :P to sort stuff out.

I've got enough interest now. Although I will only be starting proceedings for a BF2 server when i've upgraded my PC, as at the moment my GFX card is not up to it.

I also havent been playing on loony since i got bk frm lan when i got it. Its an amazing game, i especially like how you can build up rank, get badges, medals and ribbons etc. Recently got the monster of a sniper rifle *wet patch appears on crotch.*

As ppl have said most servers have no structure and no one follows orders or gets in a squad. I think it would make the game a hell of a lot better if there was structure to it with ppl following orders.

I have no problems playing on a 64 man server smooth as anything, i only play on 64 man servers. EA official servers are good the UK ones that is.

well i was looking at holding out till after my holiday but if we get our own LA BF2 server soonish i will get it straight away, it will make playing it a whole lot better on our own server.

even though i am bang into my cs, i still find myself playing the BF2 demo every other evening.

I got BF2 a bit back,and I played it for about a week.I got sick of the long loading times,bugs with ranking system,the lagg,and lack of UK ranked servers.It is a good game but you need a high spec pc and good connection to get full enjoyment out of the game.As with all my new games I end up going back to cs.
