DoubleDoom

The new 1.6 has been running for 24 hours now.
Its mostly installed although one major change needs to be done and its not something we can do. We are waiting on 4u to sort it.
The new server is a dual xeon 3.2 with 2 gig mem. (old one was a single p4 2.8 with 1 gig).
Already its showing how much better it is on the maps with reg. However, 4u left hyperthreading enabled when we requested it disabled. In effect, that means we have 4 CPUs at 1.6 each. HLDS (the server code) can only use one of these.
We have tried a few of the heavier maps and although they are better than before (plaka runs like a normal map now and karachi01 has scoreboard pings of 40-60 at round start), there is still a small increase in scoreboard pings. When 4u turn hyperthreading off, things will improve further as it will act as 2 CPUs at 3.2 each.
So, we have half the improvement with a bit more to come.
Stats are offline with some testing late in the weekend to bring them back. Most maps are back but more will follow over coming days.
