Half-life 2 HDR mod

Anyone love the HDR effect in Far Cry? Well now you can get it in HL2 too! This mod was in PC Zone this month. I installed it and I must say its pretty impressive- better than the far cry one because its a bit more subtle but it seems to add huge amounts to the eye candy of the game. Everything looks that little bit 'cleaner' and also some of the effects are vastly improved. The only bad side is that it slows load times a lot- but is definitely worth the wait.

Oh- and you'll need a decent graphics card for this one boys and girls.
