Not pimping this league or anything, but does anyone Remember CO rules in CS? (take the T rounds for the final scores)

Well there is a new league (and reason I say I aint pimping it, is cause) sign ups are closed at the moment though, as the 1st season is under way, but Me and a mate were talking bout doing this ages ago, and I withdrew from it, due to new job, and web designing etc, however I was glad to see that he still went ahead and put his own idea's into it, and has now launched quite a succesful league.

Its got CO rules, which is the way it used to get played before mr12(15) came into play. I am actually now an admin for it, as we watch all the games played, but was just wanting to mention, I wanna play in the matches. Makes the taccies so different when your pushing for more T rounds, and with the different rules and stuff like that.

Wish my clan joined (tho dunno if I would be allowed to admin my Division if they did :p)

But anyway, anyone else ever played these sort of rules? Miss the old skool of cs? I know I do :(

BRING BACK 1.3 :):):)

Sorry but these Co rules sound a bit silly. You only count the rounds you win a t's? Well that also means that you have to win as many rounds as possible as ct's too, and the final score is still the exact same reflection of the result as it would be if you were playing a mr12/15.

I.e if the final score is say 7-5 this means that you also won 7 rouns as ct so the same reflective score form a mr 12 would be 14-10?

Its exactly the same right?
I'm trying to take anything away from this league or anything, infacy i was only gonna reply to start with to say good luck etc. :)

But is that score system necessary? :p

its for clans that are reletively good as CT on certain maps, and are good as T's, which means, they will win the league easily..

imo its a poor set of rules, and thats why mr12 and mr15 work in all "good leagues" :p

They are just going for a different sort of league mate, its just shying away from the way other run.

e.g. In it, there is a merc pool, where members of clan's that weren't successful in the league, can merc for clans that are a member short, or people can sign up as merc's. Its just completely different, and I aint slating the way other leagues are run, cause I love MR15 rules, its the only way I have clanned in CS. Just fancy playing it this way, as it is sort of different, but yeah scoring, does sort of work out in the same way.

Here is an example of some of the Differences

3.70 Ties
In the incident of a tie, the knife round will count as a scoring round. In all other cases the knife round will not be included for scoring purposes.
If under extreme circumstances, a XCSL official may allow a tie game. In the event of a tie due to server problems, both teams will be awarded 5 rounds with none forfieted.

I think it's time-based. So you get 15 mins for example to get a lot of rounds. I've played that once and I quite liked it.
