Sigs must be maximum 600*150 pixels and maximum 102.5kb.
The most basic of sigs can be made using none other than windows paint, for example this one I have just knocked up:

1. Open up paint
2. Click on image then attributes and set the height and width as desired (max 600*150)
3. Draw a nice little motif using the spraypaint and brush, or just paste an image in. Let your imagination run riot...
4. Click on the little A icon andthen somewhere on the page. Type your Name in.
5. File - save as jpg...
There you are- a simple but effective sig!
In my next tutorial I'll cover making a more complex sig using photoshop. At some point I'll cover animated sigs.
