as some of you may know the PC games market in japan isnt big at all, infact is ridiculously small.
so some bright spark has gome up with the idea of making CS:S into an arcade game !!!!

www.csneo.com this is the website but unless you understand japanise you wount get it but its worth looking at as it has a ton of great pics to look at

to make it appeling to the japanise market and so the goverment wouldn't get mad they have remade it compleatly

when you go along to play this game there is an admin/teacher type girl (yes they will be using mostly girls) to help you get an ID a bit like a steam ID as you keep this every time you play
they help you learn the game and sort you out with equialy skilled players to fight with
its said that the first 2hrs will cost 100 yen (about 50 pence) and then its 300 yen for every half hr
thats a bargain in japan for an arcade game


i've read a bit about this a while ago and thought wow great idea, but that was only the original CS:S
this how ever looks great and it just gives me another reason to go to japan and to learn the lanuage too !!!


i'm hoping that the models they use get an optional release for our CS:S

I think it's to do with the japanese mentality. They don't really like military games, unless they are sci-fi orientated.
The use of anime/manga inspired characters makes it more interesting for japanese as it seems more like an escape from the real world.
That's why I reckon that the guy with the Para looks similar to the ninja out of Metal Gear Solid.
And as Jo3 stated earlier, the PC games market is tiny over there compared to their console and arcade markets.
