BF2 servers - Preferred number of players?

If there was a Loony BF2 server i'd definitely play on it and help admin it. Id have to buy the game but ive played it and itd be worth it

i have Bf2 ,..i try to play online but ,..i have a ping at highest 100 the others have 700 ,...cause this i dont play online but Bf2 pwnz all

but 32 players are better,...for the middle maps for BIG maps are 64 players much better.

Id play on a loony bf2 server no matter what size. If it were ranked it would be nice.
