LA CUP Competition

I want to know how any players would be interested in a LA Cup.

The teams will be drawn at random, and so will the ties. We need a minimum of 20 players to make it possible but realisticly we would want 80 players to make the competition exciting.

The Cup will be held by the winning team for 1 month before we start again. Team members who win will be listed on the forums and will be allowed to display a "LA Cup Holder" signature.

The only problem we face at the moment is having a server to play on (although a special LA match server could be setup - still in discussion)

A cup which is spread over a long period of time would be very boring but I don't think I'd be able to play the whole cup if it's within a week or 2.

id be able to play would have said just dont make matches to early on a night i tend to be out on a night between about 6.30 - 9.00 -9.45 , but could make exceptions on some nights.

I think the plan is to put everyone's name into a hat that can play and draw up random teams, much like we did at LoonyLAN IV

I'm going to allow the poll to run for a week and then collect names of those wanting to play. At the moment 40 people have already said they want to play which will give us a 3 round tournament. If we can get 80 people then that means a 4 round tourny.
